Dear Wired into Words readers:
First, we would like to wish a very Happy New Year to all those who currently follow us, as well as those who will follow us in the future. Thank you very much for your support and interest, we will keep on posting relevant contents to give you an insight of our industry.
To start this year we would like to stop for a minute and think about the future of our industry. As you can see in the other different sectors, the financial crisis has meant a challenge for the development of our industry since its very beginning, and specially, since it became harsher. More and more we see how public and private companies decide to manage without professional language services, because they are not considered important enough (what can we say about the popular “I can do that“), or just because their income has been reduced and language services are left out of their budgets. On the other hand, most of the companies that do care about a quality language service are going through hard times, therefore our growth opportunities are challenged in many cases. This is happening in our industry; however, we are sure that this is a common story throughout the different markets.
As our life and business philosophy is to face difficulties with a smile on our faces, we will be positive. We should highlight that, although the translation and interpreting industry has been affected by the world economic crisis, this is not one of the most affected sectors. That is why we have grown in the face of economic adversity. We would like to thank all of those companies that have trusted us in this very difficult period.
Therefore, this new year gives us many appealing possibilities:
– We will keep on providing quality translation services to our existing clients, as well as entering the market so we can be known for our deep knowledge of both languages and those industries related to ours, a good point to take in mind when hiring our services.
– Our interpreters will keep on going through all of Europe to linguistically intermediate in those situations that require so, showing their professionalism, bilingualism and respect to clients.
– We will start new projects that we will present you very soon; they are being developed at the moment…
– Last, but not least, we will keep on being enthusiastic about every single project we accept, so the result of our work is simply the best.
We wish you the best for 2013 and that the crisis curse is finally over. In the meantime, let’s work together to create an exceptional international market.
